If you have been charged for a PDF editor, an online PDF tool, or a document-conversion subscription, the charge almost certainly did not come from us. This page explains how to tell, and what to do next.
There are two different companies
Doclio (this site, docl.io) is construction drawing and document management software. We do not sell a PDF editor, a PDF converter, or any general-purpose document-conversion tool.
There is a separate, unrelated company operating an online PDF editor at a similarly spelled address. We have no connection to it -- we do not share owners, systems, billing, or customer records, and we have no access to its accounts. If it charged you, we cannot see the transaction, cancel the subscription, or issue the refund.
You have most likely found us by searching the name 'doclio' and have come to us.
How to tell who charged you
Check the merchant name on your bank or card statement. Charges from us show on bank statements as DOCL.IO DRAWINGS-DOCS.
A charge from us will match all of the following:
- You have a Doclio account at doclio.app that you created yourself.
- The amount is in US dollars or Australian dollars. We do not bill in pounds, euros or Canadian dollars.
- The plan is named Growth, Business, Professional or Enterprise, or it is an AI credit top-up.
- You received a receipt from us by email at the address on the account.
If any of that does not match -- in particular, if the charge is in a currency other than USD or AUD, or describes a PDF or document-conversion product -- it is not from us. You can also check if you have an account with us by logging in with your email and password (or magiclink)
If the charge was not from us
- Find the merchant name on your statement and contact that company directly. Its own site will should have a cancellation or refund page.
- Cancel the subscription as well as requesting the refund -- a refund on its own does not always stop the next renewal. Remove your card details from your account.
- If the merchant does not resolve it immediately, contact your bank or card issuer and dispute the charge and request that future transactions are blocked.
We are not able to refund, cancel, or investigate a payment made to another company, and we have no record of it to look up. We are sorry if another company has done the wrong thing by you, but unfortunately it is outside our control.
If the charge really was from Doclio
Charges from us show on your statement as DOCL.IO DRAWINGS-DOCS. You can cancel or pause your account from within the billing area of https://www.doclio.app/. If you would like to request a refund, we will issue it as soon as possible. See our Refund Policy, or open a support ticket and include the email address on the account and the date and amount of the charge. Please do not send us your full card number -- we do not need it and cannot accept it.
